As you know, we planned this last year with no success...So, when the mountains of West Virginia welcomed us, we both said "YES!" It was all as perfect as it could possibly be...But what we missed most was our friends and family. So here's to us, and here's to you...In hopes this year will bring anew! Time to celebrate and share the love...Created between us...from Him above.

Our Wedding

Once upon a time there was an Ohio boy. Hailing from a small town on the outskirts of Cleveland, he had a die-hard love for football from the "hardland." Go Browns! Fighting to try to fall asleep one random night (most likely after way too much coffee), he decided to research ways to obtain tickets to this little event called the NFL Combine. He was a bit discouraged to find out the only way to get tickets was to place his name in a lottery, in which many people had already claimed to be waiting for months upon months without success. Although the possibility was not looking promising, he went ahead and entered his name in the pool amongst thousands of others. Five minutes later was when a very exciting story would begin to unfold. Within those five minutes he received an e-mail confirmation, stating he had luckily been selected for NFL Combine tickets. It was off to Indianapolis, IN for a weekend!And once upon a time there was an Illiana girl. She was born and raised in Illinois, or what you would call "small town USA." Her career plans eventually took her to a place in Indiana called Purdue University, land of the ever-grateful, ever-true, Boilermakers!! After college, she decided to make her new home Indianapolis, where she still frequently followed her Boilermakers and enjoyed visiting her favorite pubs and eateries to watch them play ball.On the evening of March 2, 2018, this Ohio boy made his way to Indianapolis for a weekend of football. The night before the Combine, he decided to venture out and about with his friend, Greg, to explore some of the city. While on their walk back to their hotel, they passed a place that looked lively and fun, a little sports pub called Kilroy's. Curious and looking to catch some NCAA basketball action, they wandered in. It was in that moment this Ohio boy happened to cross paths with this Illiana girl, who was there with her friend Alicia to watch the Boilermakers play ball and to eat the world's best breadsticks, of course! And as they would say, the rest would be history...Yep! This boy was Kyle, and this girl was Brittney! After learning he was an Ohio boy, I was immediately disgusted as I said, "Don't tell me you guys are Ohio State fans?! (insert dramatic eye roll here)" He was quick to respond with, "I hate Ohio State with a passion!!" ......Oh ok, then. You have my attention. Go on...We talked for a while that night, and it truly felt like we had known each other a lifetime. So what's next? He goes back to Ohio and the chances I see him again are unlikely, right?&nbsp;Not quite...Kyle came back to visit Indianapolis the next month and we went on our first date. The Monday after he had returned to the grind in Cleveland, his boss said he needed to speak with him. His company was in big need of someone at another property, and this property happened to be in the state of Indiana. After an offer that was too good to refuse, he moved out to Ft. Wayne, Indiana on a complete whim. We were then closer to each other and spent as much time as possible together, and it was easy to see from early on that he was "my person." Since then, another great job opportunity finally landed him in Indianapolis, where we would shortly after get engaged and begin a lifetime journey together!He is my one, my only, my "finally," and (coming from the girl who said she was staying single forever), certainly one of the biggest blessings and best surprises of my life! It has taken lots of patience and loads of faith, but we do believe that trusting in God's timing and His plan is key, for it is always right. As we continue on this "grand design" journey, we cannot wait to celebrate the biggest part of our fairy tale with each one of you!! Let's party like Cinderella and live like there is no midnight!!!

Where the party's at!! The wedding venue is located above the intersection of Washington &amp; Illinois Street, and connected to the mall as well as several hotels (see Embassy Suites in Guest Accommodations)!

His hobbies involve big hits on the baseball diamond, nothing but net on the basketball court, showing his lil sister the ropes, and beating his daddy in golf!! Meet Miss Mila Grace (niece of the groom)...the sweet and spirited big helper!! Her hobbies include picking flowers, taking care of her babies and her BFF cousin Emmy, and helping her mommy with dishes! Distinguished honors: VIP--first in line for cake and ice cream!!

Since the first day of 6th grade, Greg and Kyle have been best friends.  Their very first road trip was in 2004 to Indianapolis to watch Browns vs. Colts.  Fourteen years later, they took the same road trip to Indy for the NFL Scouting Combine, and I'm sure glad they did!! :)  They have always had each other's backs through thick and thin...brothers for life..

GREG

Brittney's best friend who she has known the longest...since 1985 to be exact! I am beyond blessed to call this soft yet strong, extremely selfless woman a momma and a best friend, all in one!  Typical conversation between Julie & Brittney about marriage:

Brittney: "Finding 'the one' these days is impossible. I'm staying single forever." (this on repeat)

Momma Britt: "I don't think so....I just don't think God has put 'your person' in your life let....trust in His timing." (this on repeat times 1000)

So I suppose it would only be appropriate to have her stand beside me on this special day and give her yet another chance to say..."told you so..."
