It will be a formal wedding, so the attire is slightly less formal than a black-tie wedding. Attire options may include, for example, a suit and tie and evening wear. Tuxedos will be worn by the gents in the bridal party.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than March 31, 2024.
Can I bring a +1?
We will address this on the formal invitation, and may include the names of you and your significant other (if applicable). We are really looking forward to this being an intimate gathering of our closest family and friends.
What if I have a food sensitivity?
Both main course options (Pan Seared Halibut and Seared Filet Mignon) are entirely gluten free. Additionally, the Ocean House staff will confirm any food sensitivities and accommodations with each individual guest during the reception, just to be safe!
If flying to Rhode Island, which airport should I fly to? Should I rent a car?
The closest airport is Providence; you can also fly into Boston, Hartford, or New York. We do recommend getting a rental car if you fly in.
Are kids invited?
No, the wedding is for adults only. Feel free to consider a nanny-share with those that are bringing their kids to Rhode Island but not bringing them to the ceremony/reception.
Is there a registry?
No, there is no gift registry. We have a fully furnished home but have added a few ideas on the Registry tab - if you'd like to contribute to any of our Honeymoon adventures, we'd be more than grateful.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM (Eastern Time) at the Watch Hill Chapel, which is directly across the street from Ocean House (reception venue). We recommend arriving at 3:30 PM to park with the Ocean House valet service, explore the beautiful property as you wish, and have time to wander directly across the street to the Chapel. We kindly ask that everyone is seated in the Chapel for a prompt 4:00 PM start to the Wedding Ceremony.
Where should I park?
The Ocean House provides a valet parking service - please park there and walk right across the street to the Chapel. The map photo below gives a sense of proximity. It's very convenient!
