Of course, love isn’t without its challenges, and ours came early. Simon made a big move to Lake Louise, leaving us to navigate the ups and downs of a long-distance relationship. Daily FaceTime calls and eagerly anticipated visits every few months became our lifeline. Eventually, we decided it was time to bridge the distance. Britton joined Simon in Lake Louise, and life together took on a new rhythm. Winters were filled with snowboarding adventures by day and cozy “crafting sessions” by night, while summers brought endless hikes, paddleboarding across crystal-clear lakes, and quiet moments soaking in the beauty of our surroundings.
