We met while at a conference in the Twin Cities. As Tyler says, Brock wouldn't stop following him around the convention center. Following the conference, we both went home but continued to keep in contact and visit. On September 17th, 2017, we finally made it official and started what would be what seemed like a never ending, long-distance relationship.

In 2020, amid a global pandemic, we decided to make the wild decision to move in together - across the country in California. After dating hundreds of miles apart AND while quarantined together, there was no doubt that we were meant to be together and Brock proposed on September 16, 2023 at their favorite beach in Laguna Beach.
