Our Wedding

Bronte and Zach initially met in 2010 through shared acquaintances. Upon seeing Zach for the first time, Bronte felt an instant attraction but hesitated to commit. Despite this, a strong friendship continued and it was on September 26, 2017, that Zach formally asked Bronte to be his girlfriend. In a surprising turn of events, Zach made a commitment to Bronte in January 2018. With their bond strengthening, Zach chose to leave his long term job that required frequent travel to be nearer to Bronte. Nine months later, they shared the news of welcoming Emerson in January of 2020, followed by Braxton shortly after in November 2021. Their venture to construct their dream home began in May 2020, as they demolished and cleaned up the house where Zach spent many of his years with close family, working on their ideal shop house. Then, on June 25, 2023, Zach knelt down and proposed to Bronte at their home with the boys. Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, they always prioritized each other, seeing hope even in the darkest moments. This now leads us to inviting all of you, the cherished ones, to their wedding. Its a moment where we will gather those who have shared in their joys and supported them through these challenges, inviting you to witness and celebrate the two of them on a new chapter together. Making it all the more meaningful and memorable. We cant wait to see you all there!

Tru by Hilton Cedar Rapids Westdale 3900 Westdale Prkwy SW Cedar Rapids.  This is the most direct and closest to the Venue but in town. They do not allow us to “block” rooms so please make reservations early if you need them.
