Chris and Brook met each other way back in the summer of 2014 at a get-together near downtown Albany. After forming an instant connection, Chris couldn’t help but reach out to Brook on Facebook the very next day. After a few dates, the two became inseparable. By the end of September, Brook mustered up the courage to ask Chris if they could officially become boyfriend and girlfriend. Of course, Chris said yes; and to quote Calvin Harris, they “fell in love as the leaves turned brown”.

As their affection and love for one another grew, so did their small family. Chris surprised Brook with their first dog, Marley, during Christmas time. Through the good times and the bad, Chris and Brook found their footing in the Capital Region, finding jobs in their early 20’s that have each flowered into the careers that they have today.

Over the years, Chris and Brook went on many adventures with each other. They explored the North-East together, visited Florida nearly a dozen times, traveled to Myrtle Beach, and even flew across the Atlantic to vacation in Croatia in 2018. That same year, their little family grew once again, as Chris and Brook brought home a puppy they named Maddy.

At that point, home was a small one-bedroom apartment, but Chris and Brook felt they needed more space to grow, and purchased their first house together in 2019, located in Glenville. The house needed work, but over the past five years, Brook and Chris have slowly but surely turned their house into a home.

Chris always knew that he wanted to be with Brook for the rest of his life, so after they had built a stable and fulfilling life together, he finally proposed to Brook on a beautiful fall night in the scenic city of Saratoga in November of 2022. They have been planning for the wedding ever since, and cannot wait to spend September 28th of 2024 with all of their friends and family to celebrate their union and the journey that has led to it.
