The sky is blue, the breeze is cool, the leaves are at their peak, our magical place - the mountains, and where we’ll say “I do!” We are thrilled, and so grateful, that you are going to come celebrate with us! Our wedding weekend is sure to be filled with laughter, adventure, and memories that will last forever.&nbsp;&nbsp; On this website you’ll find all of the details you need for the weekend, including where you’re going, how you’ll get there, and by what time you’ll need to be there. We’ve also included resources that will help you discover the beautiful and majestic mountains of Colorado on your own, as the weekend is as much about you having fun as it is about us becoming one.&nbsp;&nbsp; Thank you for your love and support! TRAVEL Arriving by Air You can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Aspen Airport (ASE)You can also fly into the Eagle Airport and drive the 2 hours to Aspen in a rental car- (EGE) The Drive from Denver is about 4-4.5 hours.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Drive from Eagle is about 2 hours,The Drive from Aspen Airport is about 10 minutes.You can rent a car as the drive is stunning or there are ample shuttle services from both airports. There are many other wonderful and nearby hotels in Aspen if you would like to consider others.&nbsp;All are within walking distance and are fantastic.&nbsp; However, this will be a peak weekend in Aspen and hotels will sell out so please BOOK EARLY! PREPARING FOR THE TRIP High AltitudeAspen&nbsp;is more than 8,000 feet above sea level and guests may struggle with altitude sickness. Altitude sickness can hit anyone regardless of physical condition or age. The most common symptoms include: headache, dizziness and nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, disturbed sleep. Staying hydrated is essential! We also recommend enjoying some healthy sugars and carbohydrates during the first day or two of your stay. We promise this will help as well! If you can, consider arriving early to give yourself time to adjust. We usually feel back to normal after 24 hours have passed. Also, please note that alcohol is more potent at high altitudes. Don’t find out the hard way! When drinking, we recommend you alternate between a drink and a glass of water. One drink here = two drinks there!&nbsp; WeatherBefore your trip, we recommend checking the weather forecast for Aspen, Colorado (zip code 81611) at <a href="http://www.weather.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">www.weather.com</a>. Colorado has more than 300 days of sunshine each year, so we are hopeful for a beautiful, sunny wedding weekend, but the weather is often unpredictable and can quickly change in the mountains. The temperature during the day may reach up to 80 degrees or even warmer, but nights on the mountain can get quite chilly (40-50 degrees).&nbsp; At 10,000 feet, the top of Aspen mountain, exposure to the sun is 40% greater than it is at sea level. Sunscreen (at least SPF 30) is recommended for all exposed skin, particularly the face, lips and neck. Be certain to protect your eyes with sunglasses. You will find Aspen to be an arid climate, so hand lotion and lip balm are essential.

DINING&nbsp; Aspen is known for its fine dining, but there is a wide variety of places to choose from to accommodate your mood! If you have time, we suggest you take advantage of some of the wonderful restaurants the area has to offer.&nbsp; Your hotel concierge is happy to make reservations for you at any of these restaurants. The driving tours in Colorado are beautiful! There are several drives from Vail, to name a few: Glenwood Canyon and Glenwood Springs&nbsp;The canyon sits on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains, and is reminiscent of Ansel Adams photographs.&nbsp;The drive is spectacular with picnic area, a recreation path following the Colorado river and a prize at the end… the Glenwood Hot Springs (don’t forget your bathing suit!). Also Iron Mountain Hot Springs are popular!<a href="http://www.hotspringspool.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.hotspringspool.com/</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.glenwoodcaverns.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">http://www.glenwoodcaverns.com/</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ironmountainhotsprings.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.ironmountainhotsprings.com/</a> The “Leadville Loop”, Minturn, RedCliffe and Leadville&nbsp;A designated Colorado scenic drive through three mountain passes and quaint Colorado mining towns.&nbsp;&nbsp;As you pass the abandoned town of Gilman and drive over the historic green bridge, a quick right will bring you to the small mining town of Red Cliff, now serving as a small gateway to Shrine Pass recreational activities.&nbsp;Continue on highway 24 to visit Camp Hale, the old training facility for the infamous 10th Mountain Division, the U.S.Army’s mountain and arctic infantry.&nbsp;After passing through the open skies of Tennessee Pass, you will find yourself at highest town in America, Leadville!&nbsp;After grabbing some lunch, a coffee or ice cream on Harrison Avenue, catch your breath and hop back in the car to travel&nbsp;through Glenwood Canyon back to Aspen. Independence Pass and Aspen – A MUST DO if you have time!This scenic drive crosses 12,095-foot Independence Pass, Colorado’s highest paved pass, perched atop the Sawatch Range in central Colorado. The Sawatch Range, crested by the twisting Continental Divide, is one of the state’s main mountain ranges.&nbsp;The views are amazing!&nbsp;&nbsp;
