On a Sunday in January of 2015, Brooke and her family went to her grandmother's house. Brooke's cousin, Brandon, brought his best friend Patrick along. This was the first day Brooke and Patrick met. Patrick swears it was love at first sight, but the best was yet to come.

During the summer of 2016, Brooke's family went on their annual vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia. Again, Brandon had the wonderful idea of bringing Patrick along. It didn’t take long for everyone to notice the love that was growing between Brooke and Patrick. This time their connection was too strong, and this was the beginning of their forever!

Over the next several years, Brooke and Patrick's relationship continued to grow. They have been on many more vacations together, spent months locked down together during a pandemic, and continue to make many unforgettable memories with each other. They supported each other’s hopes and dreams to create a stable and successful future for themselves. Brooke earned her master’s degree in accounting from Seton Hall and Patrick achieved his dream of becoming a firefighter. Everything has fallen into place for them!

In September of 2022, Brooke and Patrick went on vacation to Vermont. After being together for 6 years, Brooke had some suspicions that Patrick would be planning a proposal and hoped that this vacation together would be the time. A few days passed with no proposal, but little did Brooke know... Patrick had been carrying around her engagement ring in his pocket each day, waiting for the perfect moment. Patrick decided at the top of the highest mountain in Vermont, Mount Mansfield, while Brooke was looking at the beautiful view, that it would be the perfect time to propose. Brooke turned back towards Patrick and he was already down on one knee. After Patrick explained the beautiful life he envisioned for their future and the love they shared for each other, it was the easiest 'yes!' for Brooke. They then enjoyed the rest of their vacation as a newly engaged couple.

Brooke and Patrick are so excited for their future together and cannot wait to celebrate their love with their favorite people!
