Our Wedding

How we met

The two of us met at the very beginning of our sophomore year of college at Texas A&amp;M. It was our first Sunday back in College Station, and we both went to serve with the college ministry at First Baptist Bryan that morning. I (Brooke) went over to the welcome team to see if I could help out and introduced myself to Christopher, who was the leader of that group (I thought he was so cute :D). After that, we kept seeing each other at church and would talk every now and then. I kept thinking to myself, “wow, he is so friendly!”, but I never thought anything of it. Meanwhile, Christopher was scheming ways to ask for my number. A couple weeks later, I (Brooke) got a text from Christopher asking me to go to a date party with him for his organization (he got my number from one of his friends whom I also knew). We went to the date party together and hit it off! Christopher asked me on a date at the end of the night, and 5 dates later, we were boyfriend and girlfriend :) Fun fact: at the end of our first official date, we were both not getting the vibe that it would go anywhere. But Christopher asked on a second date anyway, and Brooke said yes just to get to know each other more. But good thing we did, because now we’re in love forever and ever! At Caleb and Andrea’s wedding (Christopher’s brother and sister-in-law), Christopher and I discovered that we had mutual feelings about wanting to be married to each other one day. We got engaged on March 29th , 2025, and the rest is history!

what we love to do together

Some of our favorite memories and things to do together are taking regular walks around the neighborhood, working out, hometown visits, bowling, playing games (our favorites are arcade games, mario cart, catan, nerts and slitherio), watching movies, hitting golf balls, and hanging out with our friends.

God is so faithful and generous to have brought our two stories together. Dating each other has continually reminded us of the grace of God through Jesus Christ. We are so excited to continue our lives together as one starting May 17th, 2026! “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows” James 1:17 Here's to forever!

Wedding Party

What is the attire?

Cocktail! For the girls, think spring/summer long (midi or maxi) dresses, and try to avoid white or black. For the guys, suits or sports jacket and slacks. Don’t stress too much about the specifics of attire, we just want you there with us to celebrate and feel good in what you’re wearing :)

Are the ceremony & reception at the same location?

Yes! The ceremony will take place in the chapel, and the reception will take place in the reception hall next door. There will also be a cocktail hour outside after the ceremony (if weather allows). Don’t worry, there will be plenty of shade!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 PM, so plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early to allow time for parking.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your RSVP will indicate if you are able to bring a plus one. We kindly ask that you only bring guests who are on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Will food & drinks be served?

Yes! There will be appetizers at cocktail hour, and we will start serving dinner around 6:30 PM. There will be signature cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and non-alcohol beverages available throughout the evening.
