It's a city that brings us so much happiness, and we are so excited to spend the weekend with you in our favorite place! Whether you are going to a museum, walking by the lake, or trying a new restaurant, there are new discoveries and beauty everywhere-- and we can't wait for you to explore. Here are some of our favorite places.
Riverwalk
Might as well take a quick stroll on the beautiful Riverwalk since your hotel blocks are right there!
Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
One of many Chicago Deep Dish places in the city (the crust is the best here though).
Navy Pier
It's 5 o'clock Somewhere in Chicago! Find the classic Margaritaville restaurant here as well as many other touristy restaurants and the iconic Ferris Wheel!
North Avenue Beach
Go the beach! Enjoy a dip in Lake Michigan at North Avenue Beach or Oak Street beach (closest beaches to hotel blocks).
Portillo's Hot Dogs
Have to order the classic Chicago Beef
Starbucks Reserve Roastery
Stop in to the largest Starbuck's for a coffee, or even an Espresso Martini at their own bar on the top floor! While you're on Michigan Ave, might as well do some shopping too (;
Wrigley Field
Catch a game at the iconic Wrigley Field, but food is better at the White Sox game (;
Lincoln Park Zoo
Chicago's *free* public zoo located in the middle of beautiful Lincoln Park (where our wedding will be!) The nearby Lincoln Park Conservatory is also worth a visit (and free with reservation).
Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours
One of the best ways to see the city is from a boat tour on the Chicago River, and the Chicago Architecture Foundation does them best. A MUST for out of towners!
