Brett and I met in 2022 at one of my favorite places, Pies and Pints. It only took two months of me lecturing him about being hard-headed and picking at him for being "too busy." A couple dates later, he decided to pretend to enjoy baseball and we took off to Altoona, PA to watch some minor league baseball, where he definitely enjoyed the burger the more than the game. After that trip, we both knew we were going to be spending a lot of time together. By September of that year, we were inseparable, and Brett was even pretending to be a Pitt fan to spend weekends with me! October is where we truly began, and December I was a West Virginia resident-- even after spending months telling him I would never live there. March of 2023, we decided to bring Piper into our lives, and watching us become a little family filled with so many experiences brought so much joy to me.

Brett popped the question on January 25, 2024 a few days after my trip to New Orleans, where Brett swore he would not miss me (remember, hard headed LOL!). I came home from a long day of work and the gym, to find that Brett did not make dinner like we planned.... while going to the fridge hangry, I opened the door to find my favorite food. I turned around to show how excited I was for sushi, he was down on one knee!!!! Of course, I asked if he asked my dad- which he did! Then I asked if he was sure- remember when I said hangry?! He said he was sure- and that he was glad he didn't do it in public because I asked too many questions... and then I said YES! It's been nothing but pure happiness and love since.

We are SO excited to dance, have fun and celebrate our love and marriage with the people who matter to us most!
