Where do we begin?

I guess we owe it all to the dating apps, specifically Bumble, for this love story.

Let's start with Riley. It's summer of 2020, and he's in the middle of his master's program at St. Thomas. He was fresh to the dating app scene, but hey, it was COVID, and how else is one supposed to meet the love of their life when they can't go anywhere? He had some pretty strict guidelines for who he would and who he would not "swipe right on" (for all you non-dating-apper's, "swiping right" means that he's interested). Someway, somehow, he pushed his strict guidelines to the side when he saw Brooke, so he swiped right.

Now, at this time, Brooke was basically a dating-app veteran; so much so, that you might want to consider asking her about some of her dating app stories. She didn't seriously think she'd find the love of her life through her phone screen, but it was especially hard to make time to meet people while in her master's for physician assistant program. She had just gotten and was training her new puppy Coco, and somehow had found the time to do some "swiping", when she came across a cute guy named Riley. She was intrigued by his profile, swiped right, and BOOM - it was a match.

The dating app Bumble requires the girl to make the first move in communication, so Brooke used her best move and started the conversation with a good ol', "Hi there :-)". She really knows how to rope them in. We went on our first date shortly after our conversations started, and the rest seems to be history.

Riley and Brooke have made many memories through various adventures in their time together - graduating from their master's programs, loving and caring for two labradoodles (Coco and Bean), going on many fun vacations, spending quality time with their close friends and family, and most recently, buying a home.

All of you reading this have played such a special role in our lives and our story, and we are so grateful for that. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
