We’d love to see our friends & family dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or flip-flops. We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams.

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invite (your name & guest) and in RSVP party (after you search your name all persons in your invited party will appear). We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest friends and family.

We love all your tiny humans, but we are asking guests to refrain from bringing kids unless otherwise stated on your invitation and in your RSVP party.

Yes, we will have a shuttle running from the Fairfield Marriott to the venue and back at the end of the evening. (4545 Airport Perimeter Rd, Edmonton) Pick up at the Fairfield Marriott @ 2:15pm First pick up from the Black Barn back to the Fairfield @ 11pm Second pick up from the Black Barn back to the Fairfield @ 1:15am

There is parking available at the venue. However, it is limited so we do suggest carpooling or using the shuttle provided from the Fairfield Marriott. Guests may leave their vehicles overnight (if needed, please do not drink and drive). All vehicles must be picked up from the venue the following day by 9:30am.

Yes, all events will be held on-site at the Black Barn. There will be signage posted around the venue to let you know in which area what event is taking place. Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, and the reception will be held both indoors and on the patio.

The first two rows on either side will be reserved for immediate family. Behind those please sit wherever you’d like.

We ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent during the ceremony. Our fabulous photographer Seanna will be there to capture the magic, and we will absolutely share all those photos with you.

After the ceremony we will take some time to get as many formal photos with our guests as we can. The bridal party will then be taking photos around the venue. During this time we invite you to enjoy cocktail hour with drinks and snacks.

The venue will consist of a toonie bar. At this time it is cash only, we will let everyone know if that changes. There are no ATM’s on site.
