Our Wedding

Brooke and Michael first met in Depew, NY in 2016.&nbsp;&nbsp;Like most adults, Brooke and Michael would work during the day and have the same routine every night, going to Fitness 19 to workout. Almost every night when Brooke was done at the gym, Michael would just be walking through the doors. They would chat here and there until it became a daily occurrence. The two would talk about their workdays, how many consecutive abs Brooke did on the chair, and hockey, until one day- Michael mustered up the courage to ask Brooke for her number because he was conveniently “going to be out of town” on her birthday and he wanted to be able to wish her a happy birthday. Since then, there hasn’t been a day they haven’t texted.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;From that day forward, Brooke and Michael would hang out on the weekends and have dinner once or twice a week- enjoying home cooked meals made by Michael himself! After a few months of hanging out, Michael officially asked Brooke to be his girlfriend in November of 2016. Then after a few years of dating, Michael asked Brooke to move in with him at his home in Lancaster, NY in 2019. For the next three years, Brooke and Michael merged their lives together as one. Brooke continued to substitute teach in various school districts around the Buffalo area and Michael continued to work at Air System Products- where he is the Key Account Manager.&nbsp;	In August of 2022, Brooke and Michael flew to Siesta Key, Florida, for a much-needed vacation after dealing with travel restrictions due to the pandemic. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the entire week, including the night Mike popped the infamous question to Brooke! The two took a walk on the beach at sunset, under a water-colored painted sky. They stopped to take in the view when Michael turned to Brooke and asked her if she would marry him! The night couldn’t have been more perfect!	Fast forward to today, Brooke is currently teaching at Lockport High School and works at White House Black Market on the weekends, breaks from school, and the summer while Michael continues to work at Air System Products- a small company in Lancaster, NY. Brooke and Michael truly love to spend time together after work doing their favorite hobbies. They enjoy going for walks when the weather cooperates and to local bars, such as Frank’s and Skoob’s, on a Saturday night after Brooke works at WHBM to relax and unwind. They enjoy watching their favorite shows together and hanging out with mutual friends. Separately, Brooke loves all things hockey related (Go Bolts!) running and working out! Michael is an exceptional cook and enjoys cooking homemade meals on the smoker and relaxing with family and friends.&nbsp;	On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, Brooke and Michael will tie the knot at Samuel’s Grande Manor on Main Street in no other place than Buffalo, NY. They are so excited for this next chapter of their lives together and cannot wait to have all their family and closest friends to celebrate with! Further details are included on the wedding website!
