Our story began in January of 2020, all thanks to Brooke's cousin, Abby Cappello. The universe orchestrated our first encounter, and on January 18th, 2020, we officially met for our first date at Giordano's in Schererville, IN. Over a shared BBQ chicken pizza, laughter filled the air, and little did we know, it was just the beginning of our extraordinary journey.

Patrick loves reminiscing about the moment he realized Brooke was the one – it was when she confidently ordered a Miller Lite bottle on that unforgettable first date. After Giordano’s, reluctant to end the night, we ventured to 2nd and Charles. There, we chose a Grateful Dead poster, a memento now proudly hanging in our home, a reminder of where it all began.

What started as one date turned into a series of second, third, and fourth dates. Patrick officially asked Brooke to be his girlfriend on February 14th, 2020. Our relationship blossomed with countless adventures and shared experiences until March of 2020 when the world temporarily pressed pause. Even during those challenging times, Patrick and Brooke found joy, strengthening their bond.

The next chapter unfolded in February of 2023 when we purchased our first home together. Our love nest was completed in March of the same year with the addition of a furry family member, a charming cat named Danny, whom we adore endlessly. In June 2023, our family expanded once more with the delightful addition of Willa, our beloved dog.

The pinnacle of our journey so far took place on July 15th, 2023, when Pat asked Brooke to be his forever in New Buffalo, Michigan, at Brooke's grandparents' lake home. It was a moment filled with love, surrounded by the serenity of the lake, marking the beginning of our journey towards marriage.

As we look back on our story, we cherish every moment, every laugh, and every adventure. Our love has grown, and our family has expanded, and we can't wait to see what the future holds as we embark on this incredible journey together.
