We are incredibly excited to share our special day with you in Mexico.We've created this website as a helpful resource for all of the need-to-know details in the lead-up to our upcoming celebration. Our Story

A modern love story with a serendipitous twist. Technology brought these two Aggies together, a month long cross country Road Trip, dates filled with Banana costumes, Arcades, and one-of-a-kind romance, blossomed into a once in a lifetime love. The rest is truly history! After our first home together with our dog Stevie and years of memories we are so incredibly excited to celebrate our love with you on our Wedding Day, in the Riviera Maya.

Wedding Weekend Highlights

Wedding festivities begin Thursday November 14th, 2024 with a Beachside Welcome Party at 8pm, with the Wedding the next day, Friday November 15, 2024 at 4pm. Welcome Fiesta: 8-10PM at Fuentes Beach. Food will be offered but we do suggest you try a new restaurant beforehand. Beach Casual dress code; please see the "What to Wear" tab for dress suggestions. Wedding: The ceremony will be held at 4pm Friday November 15, 2024 at Gazebo 55. This Gazebo is located on the beach. After the ceremony, we encourage guests to explore the resort, freshen up, have a cocktail or two until the evening reception. The wedding reception will take place at Tucanes from 6pm-10pm. Tucanes is a wood floored, covered palapa. Dinner is included and we suggest you wear comfy dancing shoes!Proceed to Guacamayas post-reception for more dancing and drinks. The Day(s) After: These newlyweds are excited to see you post-wedding, Saturday 3-5PM at Enclave 28 for a Private Pool Party. While this event is optional, the fun is not!Outside of this, please indulge yourself in all that the resort has to offer. There are plenty of pools, activities, restaurants, and excursions for you to partake in, between The El Dorado &amp; Generations Resorts! Weekend Highlights 

Wedding Attire 11.15.2024

Beach formal/cocktail is the recommended attire for our wedding day. For ladies, a dress, maxi dress, or jumpsuit all work for semi-formal. Fun prints and colors are encouraged. If you choose to wear a beachy dress, consider it in tea-length or maxi to avoid looking too casual. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are great footwear options. No white please.For the gentlemen, a jacket and tie aren't required, but a breathable sport coat or unique blazer is a fun addition. Feel free to incorporate colors/prints, we're in Mexico! Shoes can be casual but still need to be closed-toe, such as a loafer or deck shoe. Weclome Fiesta 11.14.2024

The Welcome Party attire is beach casual, comfort and relaxation are key. We are excited to kick off our wedding festivities with a proper beachside Mexican Fiesta. Vibrant colors are encouraged!Ladies can opt for a simple sundress, shorter dress, or romper. Gentlemen can go for collared/ short-sleeved shirts such as polos or button downs, as well as nice pants/shorts (think Chinos). This fiesta will take place on the beach and is about seeing everyone all together before our big day!

Resort Dining Attire 

El Dorado Royale, Casitas, &amp; Generations have a ton of awesome restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort has a dress code for each restaurant, you can review the dress code to assist with packing as we get closer. In general, if you avoid bathing suits and baseball caps for dinner, you should be in the clear. Luxury Junior Suite Featuring either one king or two queen beds, rooms can sleep up to 3 guests. Rooms include hot tub, terrace, and a stocked minibar and coffee maker. Beachfront Junior Suite All King size bed, maximum capacity for 2 guests. Located a few steps from the beach and close to a pool & natural salt pool. Rooms include a hot tub, terrace, and a stocked minibar and coffee maker.  Swim Up Junior Suite Featuring either one King or two queen beds, rooms can sleep up to 3 guests. The rooms offer convenient access to a lazy river and include a hot tub, terrace, and a stocked minibar and coffee maker.   Casita Suite All with King size bed, maximum capacity for 2 guests. Rooms are designed with a tropical atmosphere with a palapa roof. Room amenities: Double sinks, outdoor showers, an indoor relaxing tub and minibar. The casita suites are grouped in two stories with an exclusive pool and swim up bar.   Swim Up Casita Suites Dive into the Resorts lazy river directly in front of our balcony. Enjoy all of the features of the Casita Suite on the ground level. The El Dorado offers two sections; The Royale and The Casitas Royale.&nbsp;We have also reserved rooms at the Family Friendly property next door, Generations.&nbsp;Please review the different room options and choose which vacation is right for you. No matter where you stay everything is within walking or golf carting distance. Children are not allowed access to the Casitas or El Dorado Royale. Differences between Royale and Casita Rooms: The Casitas are newer rooms with the most central locations, private Casitas Pools, and butler service at the pools and beach. Royale rooms do not offer the same butler service as provided in Casitas. Royale guests cannot use the pools and Bali beds in the Casitas Area. Bali beds are offered in Royale but are first come/first serve and far more limited.

Booking Tips

1) When reading the room type descriptions please note that every Casita and most rooms only allow up to 2 guests, per room. The price breakdown shows the TOTAL PRICE for all guests in that room for the specified number of nights. For example: 2 Adults staying 3 nights in a Swim-Up Junior Suite is $1,586 ($793/pp OR $265/pp per night). 2) We recommend Reserving your room NOW for the max number of nights you think you will stay to guarantee that you have the room for up to those amount of nights. You can customize the length of your stay later, as long as it is done before final payments are due 08/05/2024. If you choose to add on nights later, we can request extensions but those will only be granted IF the resort has availability.If you have any questions or concerns, please email our Travel Agent, Jackie. 2) Please make sure if flying in Thursday Nov 14, you Arrive in Mexico before 5pm to make the welcome party! 3) The sooner you book your flight, generally the cheaper it will be! Don't forget to add your travel information to your booking link so we can facilitate your transportation. 4) Order your passports, if needed, we recommend ordering at least 4 months in advance! 5) Try to avoid booking during certain holidays. Pries tend to be more expensive around Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines day and Mothers/Fathers Day. Another smart thing to avoid is booking on Monday morning or Friday evening, prices tend to be more expensive on these dates.&nbsp;

Travel Information 

Please fly into the Cancun International Airport, located 30 mins from the Resort. Transportation to and from the airport is Included. Please make sure to add your flight information to your booking reservation link, so our Travel agent can facilitate your transportation. Our Travel Agent can help book your flights if you prefer. You Must have a valid passport that is up-to date and not going to expire during your stay in order to enter Mexico and leave back to the United States. Travel Protection & Cancellation

The deposit will be $400/per room + Optional Insurance. Initial Deposit is non-refundable unless insurance is purchased. Insurance is non-refundable. UNPLUGGED CEREMONYWe are having an unplugged ceremony, which means we ask that all cellphones, electronics and cameras be turned off and put away at all times during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer present who will be sharing all their hard work with the guests as well! You are welcome to take photos afterwards at our reception but please continue to be mindful of our professionals.
