Brooke and Gabriel first crossed paths as little kids in Big Rapids, Michigan. Their sisters were best friends, and their moms were close too. Brooke, her sister, and Gabriel’s sister even took First Communion classes together at St. Mary’s though Brooke and Gabe didn’t talk much back then.

Life took them in different directions, Brooke moved away to Maine and later to Ohio, while Gabriel’s mom eventually moved to Toledo. Years later, when he came to visit his mom, fate brought them back together.

From the moment they reconnected, there was an undeniable spark, something familiar yet entirely new. What started as a childhood connection became the beginning of a lifelong love story.
