Our Wedding

Most people assume that they met because they are both funeral directors. In the summer of 2020, Brooke started seeing Dr. Sara, David’s brothers girlfriend, for chiropractic work. Dr. Sara constantly brought up David because they were both funeral directors even though the two didn’t know each other. Finally, Dr. Sara asked Brooke to join them for David’s birthday dinner because her and Michael, David’s brother, wanted to set them up. Unfortunately, dinner was canceled last minute. The following day Brooke went out with her friends and had a little too much fun at her Sunday Funday Brunch that turned into an all day affair. After her friends told her not to message him, she did so anyway. They went out for their first date on September 22, 2020. On the way home from their first date, Brooke called her friend Mary and told her there was a connection there she has never had before. In July of 2021, David moved in to Brooke’s house in St. Clair Shores where they made it a home. At a Memorial Day weekend BBQ with their family and friends, David got down on one knee and asked Brooke to marry him.
