Our Wedding

Brandon and Brooke met in college at a fraternity house party. This house, known to many wedding guests as “Train House”, is where Brandon and Brooke’s love story began. Brooke walked into Train House for the first time in February 2019. Little did she know a young, handsome blonde would spark her interest. When Brooke entered the party, Brandon approached her and made the first move. Brandon’s first words to Brooke were, “What song do you want played next on aux?”. For all the Generation X and Baby Boomers out there, “aux” means “auxiliary cord”. Brooke eagerly replied, “Bohemian Rhapsody!”, and then an electrifying conversation struck. That conversation led to their first date, and the rest is history. If you know Brandon and Brooke, you know how much they value their relationships with friends and family. Every one of you has been a part of their journey, and they want nothing more than to celebrate their appreciation of that on their wedding night.

Jillian is my sister, but she is also my best friend. Since we're only two years apart, we've always been close. We both danced growing up and got to dance together for two years at the University of Nebraska. My sister is one of the most important people in my life. Growing up I always knew she would stand by my side as my Maid of Honor on my wedding day. I can't wait to have Jill there to celebrate Brandon and me on our big day!

I met Sam early on when we started playing select baseball together for the acclaimed Papillion Predators. Despite never attending the same school, Sam and I became extremely close over the years and have remained best friends to this day. Even though our lives have taken us to different states and cities, our friendship has remained unwavering. I can't wait to have Sam there on Brooke and I's big day.

Ana and I became friends in 7th grade science class. We spent the majority of science class taking photo booth pictures on the Mac desktop in the computer room. At the beginning of our sophomore year of high school, Ana's family moved from Apple Valley, MN to Lincoln, NE. Despite the distance, Ana and I remained best friends. We were reunited when we both decided to attend the University of Nebraska. I can't wait to have Ana by my side on Brandon and I's wedding day!

Ben and I's friendship started as rivals in elementary flag football, but over the past 15 years, we've grown extremely close. Our friendship blossomed over our shared love for the show Drake & Josh, sports, and riffing back and forth with dumb jokes. Attending colleges in different states only brought us closer together. I’m honored to have Ben as such a close friend, and I couldn’t imagine getting married without him by my side.

Shelby and I became friends through high school dance team, also known as the infamous Lightning Dance Team. Once I got my license sophomore year of high school, I became Shelby's chauffeur. We have so many memories of driving home from dance team practice in my old Ford Winstar mini-van. Despite a six-hour drive between us in college, we remained the best of friends. I can't wait to have her by my side on Brandon and I's wedding day!

Will epitomizes the term 'Day One Friend' for me, as we first met back in daycare. We've been inseparable ever since. At one point, Will and I co-created SynArk Lawncare, which unfortunately led to zero customers. Growing up, I've always seen Will as the brother I never had, and I'm incredibly happy that he'll be there on our big day.

Mollie and I became close friends in high school while both working at Smallcakes. We spent our shifts taste-testing the ice cream and having way too much fun folding cupcake boxes. Mollie has always been like a sister to me, we've been there for each other through all the ups and downs in life. I couldn't imagine not having Mollie by my side on my wedding day.

Clay and I have been great friends since early elementary school. Despite Clay's travels all over the country with the U.S. Air Force, we make sure to stay connected and debrief over how Nebraska Football just lost another game by one score. Lifelong friends are rare, and Clay is as genuine as they come. I'm ecstatic to have Clay join us in celebrating.

Courtney and I became friends while on the Husker Scarlets dance team at the University of Nebraska. We bonded over our mutual love for McDonald's and Dr. Pepper. We were attached at the hip all of college and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I can't wait for Courtney to stand by my side on Brandon and I's wedding day!

Jack and I were randomly selected to live together in our fraternity freshman year of college. It was pretty solid luck, considering we became great friends throughout and were roommates all four years. I'm very happy Jack and I met way back then, and I'm thrilled he'll be celebrating with Brooke and me at our wedding.

Grace and I became roommates during my senior year of college. We had never met until we moved in together but knew of each other through mutual friends. This "random roommate" situation ended up working out as Grace is now one of my best friends! Grace is a special friend to Brandon and me and we can't wait for her to be by our sides on our wedding day!

Jacob and I also met through our fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. During that time, we developed a strong friendship that even led to us living together for two additional years post-grad at our self-proclaimed apartment, "Brickhaus." I'm extremely blessed to have Jacob as a friend and a groomsman.

Brooke and I became friends senior year of college through mutual friends. Since then we've been on multiple trips, lived together for two years post-grad, and now we're co-workers at Hudl. Brooke is the most selfless friend, whenever I got sick when we lived together her "mom-mode" was fully activated (and much appreciated). Brandon and I could not imagine our wedding party without her!

Blake and I became extremely close in high school. As a pitcher on the baseball team, Blake was our catcher, which strengthened our bond as he always tried his best to make me look good. We continued our friendship through college in the same fraternity and have stayed close ever since. I am extremely excited to have Blake there celebrating with us.

Ashten is my future sister-in-law but she is so much more than that! I will never forget when we drove down to Kansas City to go to the Lizzo concert on a whim. We became best friends with a group of very nice strangers that night and it was awesome. Ashten is a wonderful friend who cares deeply about the people she loves. I am so lucky to have another sister like her! I couldn't image not having her by my side on Brandon and I's wedding day!

Clayton is another great friend I met during my college days living in Phi Delt. We became great friends throughout college, living together all four years and bonding over a myriad of common interests. Clayton is always willing to support and celebrate his friends, and I cannot wait to have him by my side at my wedding.

Brennan and I became friends senior year of college through our internship. After we graduated, we both ended up working at the same advertising agency in Lincoln. We bonded over our love for bulldogs, trashy reality TV, and our mutual love for Indian cuisine. Brennan lives in Florida now but whenever we get to see each other, we just pick up where we left off. I can't wait for him to be by my side on Brandon and I's wedding day!

Jaden and I, or "Schov" as I like to call him, became extremely close in high school. I've grown up with him in a sense, as we then went to college together, joined the same fraternity, and post-grad have lived near each other in the great city of Chicago. Schov is a very genuine person, and I'm extremely thankful to have him as a friend and groomsman.

Brandon has known Sophie as long as he's known Sam but the first time I met her was at Ashten's college graduation party in 2019. When Sophie started college in 2020, she joined the same sorority I was in, Kappa Alpha Theta. Sophie has always been like another little sister to Brandon and me and we can't wait for her to be a part of our wedding day!

Caden and I met and hit it off sophomore year of college in Phi Delt. We bonded over baseball and our favorite team, the Yankees. We've stayed very close over the years and always find time to golf and catch up. I'm so happy Caden will be celebrating with Brooke and me at our wedding.

Adam and I met during freshman year of college in Phi Delt, and we quickly bonded over our mutual love for sports. Over the years, Adam’s support and loyalty have meant a lot to me. I’m thrilled to have him as part of Brooke and I's special day.

I've known Lee and the rest of the Denker family for what feels like forever. He met Brooke when she and I started dating six years ago. Lee is an important person to both of us, and we couldn't imagine anyone more perfect to officiate our wedding. We can't wait for Lee to marry us!

Hotel Indigo is a 5-minute walk to the Leo Ballroom. Our hotel block is fully booked at Hotel Indigo for the wedding party and immediate family. You can still book Hotel Indigo if there is availability, it just won't be in our hotel block!

We do not have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn, but this is another nearby hotel. It is a 6-minute walk to the Leo Ballroom.
