No, this is not our wedding and no, this is not a typical reception. Jacob and I are choosing to hold a small ceremony with our immediate families for our vows and exchanging of rings before September 22nd, 2024. This reception is a gathering for us to get to share time with the people we love, in celebration of our recent marriage. We will not be hosting a typical reception with an entrance, dinner, and dancing; think of this as more of a cocktail hour. Guests are invited to come and spend time with the couple. We will be having a couple of toasts by family and friends which will take place around 3:00 pm at the reception if you would enjoy hearing them. People are welcome to come and celebrate as they choose!

As this is an "open house" style reception, we will not be having a plated meal. We will be offering drinks, cake, and snacks for guests to enjoy!

Glacial till ciders and wine, as well as domestic beers will be offered to our guests 21 and older. There will also be nonalcoholic beverages available. We encourage all guests to please enjoy their beverage of choice responsibly.
