We are so excited to celebrate our day with all of our favorite people! Can't wait to see you there
Brooke and Garrett met through the Air Force ROTC Program at Penn State. Both were involved in the Honor Guard and grew even closer when they lived across the hall from each other. They quickly discovered how much they had in common and how much fun they had together. In January 2021, they began dating, spending nearly a year together before Garrett graduated, commissioned, and moved home to Scranton, PA—marking the start of their long-distance relationship.
In May, Brooke graduated and commissioned, moving back to Virginia. That October, they packed up Garrett’s belongings and moved him halfway across the country to San Antonio, TX. A few months later, Brooke relocated to Little Rock, AR. Despite being seven hours apart, they embraced their new Air Force careers, flying to visit each other every few weeks and exploring new cities together—something that quickly became one of their favorite things to do.
Less than a year later, Garrett moved to Columbus, MS, to begin Pilot Training, and Brooke deployed to Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar for seven months. Despite being on opposite sides of the world with an eight-hour time difference, they remained steady—calling whenever they could and sharing their stories, creating new memories even from afar.
Shortly after Brooke returned home, Garrett completed Pilot Training and as fate would have it, the Air Force brought him to Little Rock to learn to fly the C-130—finally bringing them back to the same place.
This fall, Brooke and Garrett will be moving to Texas together to start the next chapter of their lives, building a home and continuing their adventures side by side.
