In July 2020, Brooke was invited to a bonfire at the Compound that was being hosted by yours truly - Michael. Michael caught Brooke's eye because he was the perfect gentleman offering every woman a seat around the fire. Despite that, our love story didn't start quite then.

Fast forward to that October - we were supposed to be a part of the same group costume so we were members of the same group chat. Although Michael bailed on the group costume, we were happy to have each other's phone numbers. From the moment on, lots of texting and getting to know each other occurred until our love story officially started in December. And the rest is history...
