Brooke and David met as freshman at Bradley University while they were on the cross country and track team. They quickly became best friends and each other's biggest supporters while sharing many memories together throughout their time at Bradley.

After Bradley, Brooke moved to North Carolina to continue her education and David moved back to Chicago to start working. They stayed close during this time and continued to hang out when possible. There was no doubt the two had feelings for each other, but the timing wasn't right until the weekend of a mutual friend's wedding. David asked Brooke to be his girlfriend and they started their relationship long distance in July 2021.

Once Brooke moved back to Chicago after graduation, their relationship continued to progress and their love for each other grew deeper. In March 2023, they went on vacation with David's family to Destin, FL. One morning on the trip the couple went for a walk on the beach and that is where David got down on one knee and proposed!

We would not be here without the love and support from our friends and family. We are so excited to celebrate our love and start our marriage together!
