Right before the world shut down, Matt and Brooke both swiped right on each other! They Facetimed one random night and then met each other in person the following day at Picnic Point. While Matt took time to warm up, Brooke was all for it! Brooke just couldn't get enough… whereas Matt played hard to get. They eventually started to hang out more and more and their first "official" date ended up with a lot of laughter, fear of snakes and love. From then on, they started to be inseparable and continued making so many more memories together, traveling to a lot of new places & falling more in love with each other. Even though their relationship hasn't followed the traditional path, it has been a beautiful first few years together. Everything came at once for them. (Just full of surprises!) They moved into their first home together, Matt surprised Brooke with their dog, Oliver, and then Brooke found out she was pregnant with their beautiful daughter, Grace. After Grace was born, Matt surprised Brooke and proposed to her in their backyard while getting newborn photos done. Brooke had no idea it was coming but she mentioned afterwards that Matt was acting strange, was sweating and she could feel his high heart rate during the photos. After he popped the question, it was the easiest "YES" Brooke could have ever said. The best part was Matt didn't tell anyone he was doing this besides Brooke’s dad, so it was a HUGE surprise for everyone!!

A few months later, January 6th, 2023, Brooke and Matt decided to elope at the state capital where they both said, "I do" and became Mr. and Mrs. It was a very intimate day with just their immediate family. So, although they are already married, they can't wait to renew their vows and celebrate with all their close family and friends in May 2024!
