We met in August of 2017, our freshman year of high school, after Brooke moved from Coppell to Krum. We were both only 14, just kids trying to figure out what this thing called high school was all about. Once we started talking more at school, something just clicked. We both seemed to really like one another and from that point on the feelings only grew. One thing led to another, and by February of 2018, we were officially together. We dated for a little over a year before breaking up. Life was changing, we were growing, and we needed time apart to be kids. But even during that year and a half, the feelings never really went away for either of us.

During our junior year of high school, we started to rekindle things, and by February of 2020, we were back together. Ever since then, we’ve been inseparable. We went through every high school milestone together. Our prom, homecoming, Friday night lights, and walking the stage at graduation. We’ve been there for each other through everything. We've celebrated the good and held each other up through the hard times. We’ve stood side by side through the loss of loved ones by showing up with quiet support when words didn’t feel like enough, but we’ve also welcomed new life into our families. We truly have had a full circle kind of love. One that’s seen and dealt with grief, growth, and all of life's craziness in between.

One of the best parts of our relationship has been all the amazing people we’ve met through each other. Over the years, we’ve built real connections with each other's families. Our siblings, parents, cousins, grandparents, and close family friends who now feel like our own. We’ve shared countless dinners, vacations, holidays, and everyday moments with people who’ve supported us, laughed with us, and watched us grow up together. And it’s not just our families. We’ve met some of our closest friends through each other too. People who’ve become part of our story, those who've been there for the highs and lows, and who have cheered us on every step of the way. We love you guys more than our words can ever express.

On our two-year anniversary, Brady gifted a promise ring to Brooke. For us it wasn’t just a gift. It was a quiet promise that we were in this together for the long haul. Even though we were only teenagers when we made this promise to each other, we were serious. From this point on, there's been zero doubt in either of our minds that were meant for one another. Now we’re 22, and we’ve spent nearly a decade loving each other. We’ve practically grown up together, supported each other, and built something real and true. We never expected to find our person at 14, but somehow, we did. And we’re so beyond lucky and BLESSED for that. We make each other better. We make each other complete.

Every step, every season, and every single memory has shaped us into who we are today. This isn’t just our story, it’s our foundation. And as we step into this next chapter, we’re holding tight to everything and everyone that brought us here. The laughter, the tears, the people we love, and the promise we made to each other years ago. Here’s to the past that made us, the present we’re living in, and the future we’re building together.
