Our Story

We first met August of 2019, welcome week at UC!

After COVID cut our freshman year short, we were back in school fall of 2020. A group of us decided to watch all the Harry Potter movies, which prompted us to hang out more frequently

We went on a trip to Chicago with some friends over winter break

We started hanging out a lot more, eating at Mac Shack every Monday, working out, studying, and going to church together. Eventually Brooke got to baptize Jacob!

We then took a trip to Utah right after sophomore year ended. We took this photo that totally looks like we were dating (we weren't).

...until finally, we DID start dating. May 20th, 2021. It was a long time coming.

We went on our first vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida!

Spent a lot of time at UC football games

Celebrated our first Christmas

and our first anniversary at Mammoth Cave (that was pouring rain so we couldn't get pictures)

After our first year together, we started going on more trips! Like to Nashville...

...Gatlinburg...

...and enjoyed camps!

We have celebrated many weddings together

went on many zoo dates

and have gone all out for Halloween

Finally, Brooke graduated from college with a nursing degree!

But Jacob had to continue school for engineering. Which meant the start of long distance when Brooke moved to Colorado

Long distance meant a LOT of facetime dates

but also some really fun trips to see each other!

Even a wisdom tooth surgery was sprinkled in there

Jacob eventually graduated with his Engineering degree!

Which meant we could adopt our sweet dog, Pepper

...take more trips...

...and get engaged!!!

We had one last hoorah in Colorado before Brooke moved back

and after a stressful week of moving, Brooke made it back to Ohio

Since then, we have ran the Flying Pig half marathon

spent our time with our literal child (aka Pepper)

and celebrated 4 years together! Which brings us to present day. We cannot wait to celebrate us in October! We hope you enjoyed a small piece of our story :)
