We met on September 5, 2015 after a Sanford-Fritch football game. I was with my friend and he was running chains on the sidelines. I was going to go over to my friends house to watch movies with her and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend invited Stephen over and we have been inseparable ever since.

Stephen asked me if I want to go to Groom Prom with him while he chaperoned. A sucker for dressing up, of course I said yes! While I got prepared for a fun night ahead of us he was preparing for something much more exciting. He had made sure my mom and sisters where there by having them bring me my car out to the location. I was clueless. The kids had went to a balcony section to "take a picture". I, still clueless, went outside while the "picture" was being taken. I was waiting on my mom to get there to bring me my boots so I would be more comfortable. While I was being uncooperative he was inside waiting for me. When I went back inside followed by my family I was surprised to see just him out on the dance floor. He came to me and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said absolutely!
