We are so thankful that you are willing to make the journey to celebrate with us! We know it is a long trip, so thank you in advance for coming all this way to join us.
There are a few options to get to Sanlúcar from the States.
Flying into Jerez de la Frontera:
We have a local airport (25 minutes away) in Jerez de la Frontera (Airport code: XRY). You'll need to travel to Sanlúcar by car once you get to the airport, so you will need to either get a taxi (around 40 euros) or rent a car. This is the easiest option.
Flying into Seville:
The next closest airport from us is the Seville airport (Airport code: SVQ). This is about an hour and 15 minutes from Sanlúcar. You can fly into Seville and rent a car to drive down to Sanlúcar, take a bus, or train into Jerez and take a taxi from the Jerez train station to Sanlúcar.
Flying into Madrid:
Another option to get to Sanlúcar is to fly into Madrid (Airport code: MAD) and take a train from Madrid to Jerez de la Frontera, and then a taxi to Sanlúcar. Madrid is a 6 hour drive from Sanlúcar so it is possible to rent a car and drive down as well.
Flying into Málaga:
The last option would be to fly into Málaga (a 3 hour drive from Sanlúcar, Airport code: AGP). From Málaga, you would need to rent a car to drive over to Sanlúcar.
Train Tickets:
Train tickets don't go on sale until one month before your trip, so don't be alarmed if they seem sold out. You can book train tickets on this website: https://www.renfe.com/es/en
Sanlúcar has tons of places to stay as it is known for tourism. You can find a ton of places on AirBnB and Booking. I've listed below some of the well-known hotels in town.
This is the exact location of the castle where we will be getting married, so try to stay somewhere within walking distance. The castle is right near the town center so you will have many options nearby.
