<p>The pictures pretty much say it all. I'm not sure when we really first met - only that it was through 4-H as we were both members of the Hazel Dell Challengers 4-H club.  Our first dance was at Cheryl (Jonathan's Grandma) and Harold's wedding reception in August 2015. Jonathan asked my dad for his permission to ask me to dance. We started dating on November 28, 2015 when we were both showing cattle at the Northeast Community College cattle show in Norfolk, NE. Our parents spent a lot of time driving the road from Council Bluffs to Underwood so that we could spend time together and I know they were all thankful when we both got our drivers licenses! After high school, I went North to Vermillion to attend the University of South Dakota and pursue a nursing degree while Jonathan went South to Georgia after joining the Iowa National Guard. That time away from each other was hard but it really solidified our commitment to each other. After almost 7 and 1/2 years of dating, he asked me to marry him at the Lewis and Clark monument overlooking Council Bluffs and Omaha and of course I said yes!  And our story continues . . .</p>
