Our Wedding

He started coming down to the gym again after a while and he caught my attention. Especially when he came back down in uniform. I would make jokes to the other kids, “I’ll kill you” with Ethan next to me. I would tell him, “You didn’t hear that,” & “Just kidding, don’t arrest me officer.” Fast forward years later, after he stopped coming down, he brought someone with him. I wasn’t a fan, so I always had a disgusted face. Fast forward, months to a year later, I overheard him mention that he was single. My neck probably would’ve snapped if it was made of lead, due to how fast I turned. Right away, I started chatting him up. Months later, friendship turned into talking. In between friendship and talking, Ethan was trying to, & I quote, “impress the pretty girl.” So he was sparring our coach. Coach hit him with a right & he spun like a ballerina but didn’t go down; because I was right there. It was worry-some but funny at the same time. He ended up with a concussion after that.. (that’ll teach him to eat chicken in front of coaches house when coach can’t eat) Then, talking turned into just seeing each other. & not long after, we went right into dating. But, I wouldn’t change it for the world. He is my partner in crime & the love of my life.
