Do I need a Passport?
Yes, all guests traveling to Cancun, MX will require a passport. If you do not have one at this time, it is recommended to obtain one as early as possible. If you do have one, please check the expiration.
Your passport needs to be good for at least 6 months past your travel date.

WHEN TO BOOK FLIGHTS?
Book flights 4-9 months in advance. As the date gets closer, prices will increase. Recommended to book ahead of time to avoid delays.
Which Airport Should Guests Fly Into?
Cancun International Airport. It is located approximately 35 to 40 min away from MAJESTIC ELEGANCE COSTA MUJERES - All Inclusive without traffic.
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE AVAILABLE FROM THE AIRPORT TO Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres?
Yes, this will be available for all guests who book their rooms directly through our Travel Specialist Tanisha Woods. The travel fare to and from the airport in Cancun is included in your room payment. It is to our understanding that the transportation is not a private charter, however that can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Please notify Tanisha (travel specialist) when booking your room if you wish to have private transportation or if you are ok with standard transportation (not private).
WHEN SHOULD GUESTS START TO ARRIVE IN CANCUN AND WHEN SHOULD THEY DEPART BACK HOME?
We are hoping our guests can meet us in Cancun anytime between 4/17/2024 - 4/18/2024 to give them time to settle in and prepare to Celebrate our wedding on the 19th of April, 2024. As far as departure and returning home, we ask that our guests stay a minimum of 3 nights.
How can we book our room and how long can we stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres?
Our travel agent, Tanisha Woods with Liz Moore Destination Weddings, will be the point of contact for the room booking process. To Book Please Follow These Steps: 1. Go through the Q& A section and Read the Travel Section of this Website. 2. Fill out and submit the "Booking Form " located in the Travel Section of this website. All pricing and everything you need to complete this form is in the Travel Section of this website. 3. You will then receive a confirmation email with your room booking, which will contain any additional instructions. Note: You must complete Step 2 in order to book your room and receive a confirmation. Room category and the number of booked days/nights available have been negotiated with the resort. The date window you are available to book in is between April 17th , 2024 - April 24th, You may stay either 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 nights. If you have a specific time frame you need outside of the room block we have, please advise asap so we can better accommodate you if possible. Please See the "Travel Tab" for complete booking instructions.
DO THE GUESTS HAVE TO PAY THEIR BOOKING ALL UPFRONT OR IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?

Future Payments:
We do not offer recurring payment plans. There is just an initial deposit and final payment due date. You are able to make payments anytime you wish within that time period at your discretion. To make a payment simply reach out to Tanisha via email ( Tanisha@lizmooreweddings.com) and request a payment link. Payment links are good for 72 hours from the date received.
A minimum non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is due no later than May 19th, 2023, in order to secure your room and round trip airport/resort/airport transportation.
Subject to availability at the time of booking after this date.
***Final balance is due by January 11th , 2024***
WHEN IS THE DEPOSIT DUE TO RESERVE MY ROOM AND FINAL BALANCE DUE ON MY ROOM?
Deposit Due to Reserve a Room must be paid by May 19th, 2023. Final Room Balance must be paid by January 11th, 2024
DO I HAVE TO STAY AT Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres?
No, but it is very highly recommended. We have done hours of research and would prefer you and your guest to enjoy the resort with us! * If you choose NOT to stay at the resort, transportation and other additional fees will have to be paid to attend the wedding per the resort contract.

WILL WE NEED MEXICO CURRENCY?
This is totally up to the guest. The Wedding is hosted in an All Inclusive Resort. This means all your Meals & Drinks (Alcoholic as well) are included in your Room Rate. Guests normally bring currency for Tipping, which is not mandatory, and can be done in Both Mexican Peso or USD. Tanisha will provide you with a Tipping Tutorial a few weeks prior to travel. If you decide to do excursions the best way to pay for the extras is with a credit card.

Why do we RSVP a year in advance?
We ask that you RSVP asap so we can be sure that you’ve booked a room as it gets closer!
CAN I BOOK ON MY OWN: DIRECT OR THRU THIRD PARTY?
We ask that all Guest book through the Room Block. We have worked with the Resort to hold enough rooms to accommodate all our guest choices. By booking within our Room Block you will help us meet the percentage required to adhere to our Wedding Contract and this will also allow you to participate in all our wedding events planned for the week. In Addition, you will have the convenience of utilizing our Group Coordinator and Hospitality Desk for all service request along with being placed in nearby room
