First Date: November 2, 2022Dating: November 14, 2022Engaged: August 23, 2025Wedding: June 13, 2026 Brooklyn and Josh first met during their freshman year at the University of Northern Iowa. Brooklyn was working as a desk assistant in Josh’s dorm when she first saw him picking up a package. It didn’t take long for them to start talking, spending time together, and quickly realizing they had a special connection. After a few fun dates and meeting each other’s families, they officially became a couple.Over the years, their relationship has been filled with shared passions and meaningful moments—attending church together, enjoying sunny days on the lake, going for bike rides, making unforgettable memories on vacations, and cheering on their favorite sports teams side by side.

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held at BackRoads Retreat. Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony will be outside. BackRoads Retreat Address:2321 Highland AvenueOskaloosa, Iowa Take 235th off of interstate 163 (it's where all the heavy construction is for the new bypass). Take 235th for 1.5 miles. Turn North onto Highland Avenue to 2321.

There is a block of rooms on hold under Huizer/Hardenbrook. Call the hotel for a reservation. The block is available to reserve until 30 days prior to the wedding.
