Our Wedding

I (Jarrell) moved to the La Crosse area in the Fall of 2018. I played basketball at Western Technical College. I became friends with some of Brooklyn's high school friends that played basketball as well, so, I knew of her. We followed each other on social media. 	We had never met in-person until a night in 2022 at a bar in La Crosse. I was introduced to Brooklyn by her brother, Dylan Paulson, who I had known from playing pick-up basketball at the YMCA. 		As time went on, it's now December of 2023. I got a random add from Snapchat, which the name had looked familiar. I searched Brooklyn's name up on Instagram just to see if I could connect the name to a face. I did, so I added her back and sent her a snap asking, "Did you mean to add me on snapchat?" She replied, "Yeah, I did." She was home for Christmas break and there was some small talk between the both of us. 	From there, we planned a day to hangout, that one day turned into almost every weekend! We would take turns traveling back between Rochester, where she had been doing her schooling at, to La Crosse. We would plan dates and get to know each other more. Four months in, she invited me to her other brother, Damian's wedding in Mexico in April! 	Fast forward another month later, May 23rd, 2024, I asked Brooklyn to officially be my Girlfriend. A year and a day later, I decided to get on one knee and ask her to take the first steps into sharing last names on May 24th, 2025.
