Our Wedding

Our story started thanks to a mutual friend - Matt, who (unintentionally) played matchmaker and introduced us at a bar. But let's be honest: it didn't exactly kick off with fireworks. In fact, Kalen barley said a word to me. So naturally, I took matters into my own hands, asked for his number, and started the conversation myself.(You're welcome, future husband.) From that bold beginning came something amazing. Over the past two years, we've built a relationship full of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Whether we're getting into harmless trouble with friends or just spending quiet nights together, being with each other always feels like home. The best chapter so far? Getting engaged on Christmas Eve in the Dominican Republic. It was romantic, warm, and perfectly us. Now we're getting ready to say "I do," and we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you - our favorite people. Let's make some new memories together on June 13th 2026

Zoe is my younger sister, but she is also one of my best friends. she's kind, loving - and just the right amount of sarcastic to keep me laughing no matter what. Every memory we've made together is special, and honestly couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. Having her as my maid of Honor means the world to me.

Matt has been my best friend since high school, and over the years he has become more like a brother. He's outgoing and the life of the party. We've shared so many great memories- I honestly couldn't pick just one. But the one that changed everything? He Introduced me to the love of my life. So not only is he my Best Man, he is also the reason this wedding is even happening.

My mom is everything to me. She's kind, compassionate, loving - and has a perfectly sarcastic sense of humor that always keeps things real. She's been my biggest supporter, my constant source of strength, and my best friend through every stage of life. Having her as my matron of Honor is incredibly special, and I'm so grateful to share this day- with the woman who taught me what love truly looks like  

Trudy VanSchepen

Kolton is my younger brother, but he's always felt more like a built-in best friend . He's humorous, hardworking, and one of the kindest people I know. No matter what life has thrown my way, Kolton's always been there for me, and that kind of loyalty means everything. Some of my favorite moments are simply the times we've spent together - laughing, talking,  and simply just being brothers. I'm proud to have him as a groomsmen and even more proud to call him my brother.

Sydney has been my best friend for a long time. We've shared more laughs than I can count. She's incredibly kind, caring, and always knows how to show up when it matters most. We've made so many amazing memories over the years,  but nothing tops our 3 a.m. chicken nugget runs - those late-night adventures sum up our friendship perfectly. I am so grateful to have her as a bridesmaid and even more grateful to have her in my life.

Kayson is my youngest brother, and even though he's the baby of the family, he's wise beyond his years. He's funny, kind and caring. No matter what, Kayson is always there when it counts, and having him by my side as a Groomsman means the world to me. I couldn't imagine my day without him.

Ella. She is more than just my cousin. She's like a sister to me. I truly couldn't imagine this day without her by my side. Growing up, we spent countless hours making dances in our grandmas basement, laughing till we cried and watching the same 3 movies at every sleepover. I am so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid and even luckier to have her in my life.

Patrick is a mutual friend of both the bride and the groom - Though the bride met him first about six years ago ,and the groom joined the crew three years later. He's one of the kindest guys you'll ever meet, always ready to give the shirt off his back for any one he cares about. Some of my favorite memories with Patrick involve all the crazy stories from getting kicked out of the bar together - moments full of laughter and unforgettable friendship. I'm glad to have him by my side as a groomsman.

Kiara isn't just my cousin - she's also a friend. We've always had a special bond, and watching her grow into the amazing person she is today has been such a joy she's creative, outgoing, friendly and kind. One of my favorite memories is from when she was younger and drew a picture of us in class saying she wanted to be like me when she grew up. That moment has always stuck with me, and having her as my bridesmaid truly feels incredibly full-circle  and special. I'm so lucky to have her by my side on this day

Lauren has been the brides childhood partner-in-crime and one of the grooms good friends, making her the perfect bridge between both sides. She's caring, hardworking and has a sarcastic sense of humor that keeps everyone on their toes. The brides favorite memories with Lauren are all the mischievous adventures they got into growing up - trouble always had a way of finding them. As for the groom, he says all their memories are great ones. were so lucky to have her as part our day and lives.
