Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is a formal garden party. We want to encourage guests to wear colorful, patterned, and comfortable attire while still upholding the elegance of a formal wedding. Ladies, please wear your lovely dresses at or below the knee. If you choose to wear heels, feel free to bring an extra set of shoes to boogie down on the dance floor! For the Gents, a nice pair of slacks, a dress shirt, and a sports coat will be perfect. It is your choice to add or forgo a tie. We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans or sneakers.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

April in Texas is traditionally 75°and sunny with a chance of rain showers.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and Reception will be held at The Grand Ivory Address: 19611 FM981, Leonard, TX 75452

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

At this time, all events are planned to take place indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

While the Bridal Couple and their families take photos, we are hosting a Social Hour after the Ceremony featuring our all-star coffee bar!

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

We will be limiting the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony and immediate family. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Please plan to drive or uber to the venue. The Grand Ivory Address: 19611 FM981, Leonard, TX 75452

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. Please be in your seats no later than 3:45 PM.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Parking space at the venue is plentiful and free!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy Brooks & Jessie’s union. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We do not have a large enough influx of travelers to justify a hotel block. Many guests are already located in the Dallas / Austin areas. If you are traveling in, we recommend airbnb.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Thank you in advance for submitting your RSVP here on our wedding website before March 7th. Physical invitations will be sent out in mid-February, but all guest accounting will be done on this digital platform.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes!

Will there be food and drinks?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving coffee, non-alcoholic drinks and food.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yes, we will be serving pizzas and salad!

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

We have accounted for those with a Gluten-Free diet by adding a gf pizza to the selection. If you need other considerations, please contact Nadja (303)-880-1854.

Where are you registered?

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration! We have registered for a few items we need for our newlywed home. A tab to our wedding registry can be found here on our website.
