The Origins of Bruce & Emily

The story of Emily and I began at work, we both shared an engineering background and the desire to solve all the technical inefficiencies of humankind. (Along with the mutual sympathy for the pain and suffering associated with the career path)

Emily boldly came to the U.S. on her own for college, independently taking on the challenge of integrating into the culture, while enduring an extremely competitive bachelors program.

She thrived of course, and fortunately for me, found herself with a career in the same company. When we met, she instantly stood out to me as a beautiful, self-reliant free spirit. (The ideal match in my mind) Soon after we began to enjoy each other's company, traveled the world and found a mildly cliche bond in bringing out the best of one another.

Fast forward 8 years, still an ideal match and looking forward to a lifetime of experiences, surprises and cultures along our journey. Thanks to all who have been a part of this ride, stay tuned...
