Honestly, you would expect some kind of Disney story plot of how Bruce and Tracy met and fell in love, but on the contrary, it is quite the opposite. The story began at a 1-year old’s birthday party. Not really the setting where sparks are flying. During the course of the night, the two have been eyeing each other from across the room, but too shy to say a word to each other. At one point, Tracy was conversing with her friend about Bruce saying how she thought he was cute and how she liked his physique. Her friend replied, “You like that?!” Tracy replied, “Yeah!” Meanwhile, across the room, Bruce said to his friend “Damn she’s fine!” As the party went along both Bruce and Tracy had their share of alcoholic beverages, which finally led to their first interaction. It was the end of the party and Tracy was cleaning up while carrying a large tin foil tray of fried chicken. Bruce saw the chance to slide in and he took that chance. He walked over and told Tracy “Let a big strong man carry that for you.” Reluctant of the offer, Tracy indulged and gave Bruce the tray. They both walked out to the car and Bruce laid the tray down in her car. They stared at each other for a second and moments later they said bye to each other and went their separate ways.
This story would have stopped already if she did not say yes to a date, but fast forward 3 years later to July 24, 2021. Bruce had already bought an engagement ring just a couple days prior and couldn't fight the urge to show Tracy the ring. On this special day, Bruce and Tracy were going to have dinner with her siblings. They meet her siblings at her parent’s house. Once they arrived at her parent’s house and were walking up the driveway, the song Love You Anymore by Michael Buble started playing. Tracy was confused, unaware of what was going on, and continued up the driveway. At the top of the driveway was a candlelit staircase with rose petals and a bouquet of roses underneath a flower-filled wooden arch. There, Bruce asked Tracy to marry him and reluctantly Tracy said yes.
