Our First Date
Their first date was at Billy G’s in Kirkwood, right next to a live performer. Despite the loud music, they spent the night yelling back and forth, having so much fun with constant conversation, and playing games guessing the stories of everyone around them. After a quick kiss in the parking lot, Bryan and Heather both canceled their next dates that week, feeling an instant connection.
Our Proposal
Bryan exceeded all of Heather’s expectations the day he asked her to be his wife. Heather had been telling friends and family that she was sure Bryan would propose during their upcoming Fall cruise. But about a month before that cruise, during what Heather thought was an early birthday dinner for Bryan, he asked her to walk around the lake at Wild Crush to kill some time. As Bryan began speaking, Heather realized what was happening, and Bryan said, “And yes, this is actually happening.” Overwhelmed with joy, Heather kissed Bryan, forgetting to say yes or even put on the ring.
A fun twist occurred when Bryan, approaching his planned spot, found a group of high schoolers taking homecoming pictures. Despite the unexpected crowd, he went ahead with his plan. After he got off his knee, the high schoolers applauded and cheered, making it a fun and memorable moment. To top off the surprise, they went to the venue to find their family and closest friends waiting to celebrate with them, making it the most beautiful, joyful night imaginable.
The Wedding Day
By their wedding day, Bryan and Heather will have spent a little over four years together. They are overjoyed to start the next chapter of their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Berg. Celebrating their love with family and closest friends means the world to them, and they feel incredibly blessed for all the love and support.
