Ricardo and Bryanna first met on a warm summer night in 2019. Upon that first meeting, Ricardo's eye caught on her bright blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, and soft smile. Their paths continued to cross at a connect group hosted by Isaac, Ricardo’s younger brother. Bryanna continued attending the group and young adult events at church, and over time, a strong and meaningful friendship blossomed between them.The road from friendship to romance wasn’t entirely smooth. In 2020, a slight detour arose when Bryanna traveled to Texas for several months during the pandemic. Despite the distance, Ricardo remained a constant in her life, faithfully texting her every day and planning fun virtual hangouts over Zoom. Though neither of them can quite recall what they talked about in those calls, they both remember how much they enjoyed each other’s company.When Bryanna returned to California, the once-simple friendship became more complex, and the dance between friendship and something deeper moved forward and backward—until August 17, 2021. On that special night, Ricardo invited Bryanna to the movies, and she happily accepted. Afterward, they spent hours talking under the city lights at one of their favorite lookout spots, sharing thoughts, dreams, and maybe even their first kiss. It was at that moment that they both knew—this was something truly special.One week later, on Bryanna’s birthday, Ricardo surprised her with a lovely dinner and a romantic swan boat ride out on Echo Park Lake. As they floated on the water, he asked the daring question: Will you be my girlfriend? With nowhere to go but forward (and surrounded by water!), Bryanna had only one choice—she said YES!Over the past three years, their love has grown through life’s highs and lows. They’ve shared early Sunday mornings setting up production equipment for church, countless adventures exploring California and beyond, discount Tuesday movies, Saturday morning coffee runs, and comfy nights cooking at home. Then, on November 23rd, Ricardo planned yet another unforgettable surprise. This time, instead of a swan boat, he chose something even grander—a beautiful sailboat gliding across the water at sunset. With the sky painted in warm golden hues and the gentle waves surrounding them, Ricardo pulled out a ring designed especially with Bryanna in mind. As the day came to a close, he dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever. Once again, surrounded by water, Bryanna had only one answer—Yes! But this time, it wasn’t just for now—it was for forever.Through the last several years Bryanna and Ricardo have learned that love is not just about joy and adventure but also about sacrifice and commitment. They believe that marriage is both a great honor and a sacred calling—a journey of laying down themselves in love and friendship, just as Christ has called them to do. Her eye for beauty and style pair fantastic with her ear for good music and taste for exquisite food. She is a diamond that God blessed me with🤍

Bianca Brock

Best man and younger brother—growing up with him has been nothing short of an adventure. During one of his Bible studies, I first met Bryanna, a moment that would change my life. Through him, I’ve learned that sacrifice pays off, that true brotherhood endures no matter the distance, and that life is best approached with an open mind and a fearless heart. He has shown me how to face challenges even when I feel unprepared and has taught me countless lessons along the way. Simply put, I wouldn’t be the person I am today without my younger brother by my side.

Isaac Parra Azocar

Samantha (Sammy)-  practically a second sister. We played dolls together, pretended to be teenagers together, and have gone through every phase of life together, despite often being long distance. Two of her daughters, Charlotte and Rosalie, will also make a special appearance as flower girls, keeping the Brock  & “Tindle”  family tradition 3 generations strong. ( Fun fact I have known Samantha longer than I’ve known Bianca 😉)

Stubborn since childhood—but always with purpose—Mario is one of the smartest guys I know and has a huge heart. From an early age, he knew what he wanted and went after it. Many times, he sacrificed hanging out and having fun to focus on his studies, and in the end, it all paid off. Through him, I’ve learned that hard work and sacrifice always lead to success.

My newest friend on the crew, but that doesn’t mean much. Helen and I quickly bonded through our "we got this" attitude. Need something done and done well, Helen is your girl! Her helpful and caretaking spirit makes for a wonderful and dear friend. She’s always down to save you a seat at church, although be careful because you will be in the front row, but don't worry, because her beautiful singing voice will make it all ok. 💜Helen is also a beautiful Ethiopian queen 👑

Joseph was one of the first people who knew that I really liked Bryanna. I’ve always enjoyed our deep conversations about life and the future. As an artist, he sees the world through a unique lens, and through him, I’ve learned to appreciate life’s experiences from a different perspective.

Our Ethiopian Queen. Neby and I met at connect group, often sitting through torturously long games of Mafia together. She gracefully took the role of 3rd wheel as Ricardo and I figured it all out. She throws fabulous birthday weekend trips and is the smartest, kindest, and most generous.  A friendship with Neby is a consistently fun and exciting friendship💕

Christian has a great sense of humor and is always ready with a joke to lighten the mood. However, when it’s time to focus, he demonstrates a strong work ethic and unwavering determination to complete any task at hand. From him, I’ve learned that it’s never too late to start something new—what truly matters is having the drive and dedication to see it through.

The fantastic, fierce, and Fabulous. Kasey and I share a passion for dance and a skill set for teaching dance to small children while juggling 6 other projects outside of work. We suffered teaching dance through the pandemic together and as tricky as it is with our busy schedules we love to squeeze in a fancy brunch or dinner to catch up on all the dance drama! ✨
