Bry's POV:

WELL.... Our first date was an accident and the second one was to a hospital...and when you spend 4 hours hearing someone's entire medical history and meet their mom through a phone call telling her you're forcing her son to the ER... I guess it's just meant to be. Let me explain:

Chris works with my god-mom, Aunt Shelley, and her husband, Brad. Brad tried to introduce us in July of 2021 when I house sat for the first part of a weekend and was suppose to show Chris the ropes for feeding all the horses. He wasn't able to make it out before I left so that didn't happen. Until 9 months later when I showed up, late, (thank you Jethro) to helping them move from Reno to Waxahachie. While loading things into a dump trailer I heard someone say his name and I said "wait.... Chris? as in the Chris that I was supposed to show how to feed the horses, Chris?.....Well nice to finally put a face to the name" Then as we were leaving the old house I noticed the tire on the trailer was flat and remembered I had his number. So I called to tell him and we ended up talking the whole way to the gas station. Then I missed an exit... because construction. So I called him again... and we-- well..... I talked. The whole way (like an hour and a half) to Waxahachie. When we were done we started to head out and realized we were heading in the same direction because I lived in Denton and he lived in Flower Mound. So I called him...again. while coming into Lewisville I said "I'm hungry, what do I want to eat?" he said "I don't know, what do you want to eat?" so I asked "Well, are you hungry? What do you want to eat?" He inquired "Are you asking me on a date?" I said "Sure. Now what do you want to eat?" I wouldn't let him choose the place that closed in 30 minutes, so we went to Chili's. We spent another 2 hours eating and chatting before we finally both decided we were tired and wanted to go to bed. Then we started texting. The next day I was making dinner and sent a messaging saying "Don't think this is weird, I'm a chef, I feed people. Do you wanna come over for dinner, I made homemade chicken and rice soup." he said "that's not weird, I'm Italian." Then I get a message saying "SOOOOO I got in a wreck." And I showed up. Sat with him until the wrecker got there, drove him to drop the truck off in Grand Prairie, Then forced him to go to the ER. Called Gina and said something to the effect of "Hi, I'm Bry. I'm taking your son to the ER because he smashed his head on the steering wheel and he's in progressively more pain since I showed up to get him" then I sat in the ER with him for 4 hours, got home at 1 AM. Now here we are, almost 4 years later, getting ready to tie our lives together with our friends and family in attendance. :D

Christopher's POV:

Bryanna is the absolute biggest pain in my ass. Brad had tried to introduce me to Bry months before I actually met her. For some reason in my mind this was an old Cat Lady. So I avoided meeting her at all costs, and for a time the attempts died down. Fast forward a few months to, a move of all places. While helping Brad and Shelley move from Azle to Waxahachie I meet and start talking to this girl. In between moving boxes and appliances we're talking and laughing the entire time, sharing stories. An all day affair just whizzes by and the next thing you know it's done. Of course my brain wasn't thinking at the time how I didn't want it to end but thankfully both our stomachs had our backs (note from Bry: Thank you tummies.). We had our "accidental" first date and the rest is history and now an ongoing adventure to be made.
