In of March 2020, as the world around us stood still through a pandemic, our love story began to take root. It was through mutual friends that Bryce, a native of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Wes, from Gastonia, North Carolina, discovered a shared passion for the calm and focus of fishing during the Covid lockdown.

Our love was sealed in Myrtle Beach, SC, where we both landed 40+ inch redfish in September of 2020. The thrill of that day was just the beginning of our shared journey. By March of the following year, kayaks became our new companions as we glided through waters, chasing the elusive bass, and in those quiet moments between the ripples, we found our rhythm.

Our commitment to each other grew stronger, and soon, Wes made the loving decision to move in with Bryce. Wes sold his place, then Bryce sold his, and together we built a new home, a testament to our shared dreams and promises. It’s in this home that we’ve created a life filled with laughter, love, and the pitter-patter of paws – Coco and Sire, our loyal dogs, and Jigsaw, our mischievous cat.

As we stand on the threshold of a new beginning, our wedding day is not just a celebration of love, but a mosaic of every little step that has led us here. We are not just partners in angling but in life, learning, and building a future that is uniquely ours.
