Q1: How do I pronounce Giuly's name?

A1: Giuly is pronounced the same as the English name Julie, or phonetically [JOO] + [LEE]

Q2: Where can I watch the ceremonies virtually?

A2: https://ufl.zoom.us/my/brycegrame

Q3: What is the venue address?

A3: Aloma Church

1815 FL-436, Winter Park, FL 32792

Q4: What is the expected wedding attire?

A4:

Q5: Why is your registry so small, and can other gifts be brought to the ceremony?

A5: The apartment we will be living in already has all that we need, so the greatest way you can bless us financially right now is to help us save for a car. We absolutely welcome physical gifts at the ceremony as well, and will have a location at the entrance for a gift and card drop.

Q6: When can/should I arrive in Orlando?

A6: This is up to you, depending on what else you would like to do while you are in the area. The civil ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Q7: Why Orlando?

A7: Orlando serves as an extremely accessible and convenient destination for travelers due to its heavily tourism-based economy. Approximately a two-hour drive from Gainesville and 30 minutes due north of the Orlando International Airport, Aloma Church (the church Bryce served in while living in Orlando for three months) will be a great spot for both local friends and those flying in from Arizona, Kansas, Montana, Washington D.C., etc.

Q8: Why are you having two wedding ceremonies?

A8: Our immigration attorney recommended this route as the most ethical and likely to be approved, even though it makes things a little complicated. The way the K-1 fiancé visa works, we waited 11 months after filing (which we did in December 2023), before Giuly sat for an interview at the Colombian embassy in Bogota. Now that her visa is approved, she is allowed to travel to the US in January and must have a legal wedding officiated within 90 days of entering the country.

Our plan is to have a religious wedding officiated in Colombia on December 26, 2024, so we are married before God prior to Giuly moving to the States. Setting the date for the civil ceremony officiated in Orlando as March 29, 2025 gave enough buffer time if the visa took longer to process, without exceeding the 90 day window.

Our thought is that the civil ceremony will be more of a celebration of the covenant that has already been established under God at the wedding in Colombia (Ephesians 5:31-32) while showing honor to the legal requirements of the civil authorities that God has sovereignly placed over us (Romans 13:1).
