Q + A

What is the dress code?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a summer semi-formal dress code for our evening.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitations. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We adore your little ones, but not that much, and we want you to enjoy this evening as a special date night! If your RSVP includes your kids (or any other random children), feel free to bring them along. While our event is child-friendly, please note that it won't be specifically tailored to children's entertainment. They may become bored easily, so we recommend considering whether you'd prefer a night to yourselves. Either way, we're thrilled to have you join us!

How do I RSVP? When do I need to RSVP by?

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your invitation. Kindly RSVP before July 1, 2024. If you are able to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVP received after this date will be marked as a 'no', or you can bring your own sandwich and chair and sit in the back. We will be sending final head counts to vendors shortly after this deadline. You will be missed!

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed dearly! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your response on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. I don't care how many cameras are on your phone face, you are not better than these guys (at least I hope not for the price we're paying them). After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

We are excited to share that our wedding will take place outdoors in a greenhouse, surrounded by the beauty of nature. Please plan accordingly, as there won't be air conditioning in the greenhouse. Rest assured, while in the greenhouse, you will be covered and in the shade. We anticipate a brief ceremony, and the main reception will be held indoors with air conditioning for your comfort. Additionally, the cocktail hour will be short and held outside under a patio, providing some shade. You'll be fine.

How does seating work?

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests sit with either those they know or the people that I think would be funny sitting together (or their plus one or partner).

What do I do if I'm late for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm, we recommend guests arrive between 2:45-3:15 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator (bodyguard) will let you know if they are still allowing guests in. If not, you will need to wait until the ceremony is over all alone with our coordinator/bodyguard. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thank you for understanding! (Our bodyguard is a prolific marital AND martial artist)

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Onsite guest parking will be available. While the venue itself does not have ramps, we want to assure you that the spaces we will be traveling back and forth on will be paved with no hills or grass, ensuring easy accessibility. If you have any specific accessibility needs or concerns, please feel free to let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. (Our bodyguard can lift at least three people with just one arm)

Is there parking avalible at the venue?

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking available. Look for signs posted at the entrance of the venue to guide you; you won't miss it. We want your arrival to be seamless, and we can't wait to welcome you to the celebration!

Will there be a bar?

On our special day, we have decided not to have a bar or offer alcoholic beverages. However, we are excited to provide a variety of non-alcoholic drinks to keep everyone refreshed and hydrated!

Can I bring my own adult beverage?

Please be advised that due to venue policy and regulations, guests are not allowed to bring their own drinks or alcoholic beverages onto the premises of the wedding. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines. Additionally, as it will be a hot summer's day, we encourage you to stay hydrated with the drinks we will supply. This includes small shots of hand sanitizer, which contain alcohol, just be discreet about it.
