Please see the Princess Cruises website for a full list of dinning options aboard the Enchanted Princess.

Cabin Type

As with every cruise ship, Princess offers many different cabin types. The cheapest and most common is the inside cabin. This cabin has no windows or balcony. It includes a king or 2 twin bed, closet, TV, desk and your own private bathroom with stand up shower. One step up and you have the Outside (porthole) cabin. This offers all the same features as the Inside cabin but has a large window that does not open. It offers a less claustrophobic feel with the window. Next they have the Balcony/Deluxe Balcony cabin. This is the typical cabin style you see on a cruise. It offers all the same features as the other two rooms but has a little more room and of course, a balcony for you to enjoy the fresh sea air! Lastly, Princess offers a Mini Suite. This suite has the most space with an additional seating area with a couch and separate TV and a balcony. The bathroom is larger and some may even have a small bathtub. These suites are usually located on the high decks and towards the centre of the ship. For a full cabin description, please visit the Princess Cruises website.

Double Occupancy

All cabins are priced at double occupancy.

Are all the cabins going to be together?

No, all of the cabins are not going to be together. Most cruise ships assign room assignments a week or two before. When booking, you may encounter an option to select your cabin before hand for an extra fee and at that time, you may select cabins next to each other if available.

Do I have to book through Irene and Expedia Cruises?

It is recommended you book through Expedia Cruise with our group block. If you book through our group block, you will receive $75 USD onboard credit per cabin. Booking outside of Expedia Cruises may lead to you not being included in any additional group block bonuses the cruise offers.

Payment Plans

We are booking our cruise through Expedia Cruises which offer unique payment options. The standard payment plan offered at no additional cost, is where you must pay a deposit at the time of booking and the remainder of the balance is due 90 days before the sailing date. Alternatively, Expedia Cruises offers a payment plan, if eligible you can pay for the cruise for up to 2 years after sailing. Please contact Irene Gaudet at Expedia Cruises for more details.

What is there to do?

Onboard, there are many different activities to do like swim in the pool, enjoy the hot tub, watch live shows, daily activities, and play in the casino. Onshore, you can explore the local ports for no cost or go on the many different excursions. Please check out the cruise itinerary page for more details!

Onshore Excursions

Every port has their own unique excursions such as Mayan ruins, cenotes, beaches, ziplining, tubing and so much more! Please note that any of these excursions are an additional cost. It is highly recommended to book excursions through the cruise line so they are aware of your whereabouts and can ensure you are back onboard before departure. It is also recommended to book these in advance for a cheaper rate and to confirm the availability. Please visit the Princess Cruises website to book!

Hotels and flights

The ship departs from Fort Lauderdale, FL. Fort Lauderdale does have their own international airport. It is highly recommended to fly in the day before the cruise departure and stay in a hotel near Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL. On the return day, we arrive at 6:00am so it is possible to book an afternoon flight the same day. Please note it may take several hours to disembark. Irene Gaudet can help with booking flights and any hotels but you can also book your own flights and hotels.

What can I use the onboard credit for?

You can use the credit for anything on the ship including dinning, drinks, shops and even shore excursions. It can be used anywhere you might have to pay an additional cost on the ship.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! The Enchanted Princess has kids clubs onboard that are fully supervised and are completely free. They are broken down into 3 different tiers. The Treehouse is for kids 3-7 years old, The Lodge is for kids 8-12 years old and the Beach House is for teens 13-17 years old. The minimum age for sailing passengers is 6 months old.

When is the wedding happening

The wedding ceremony will be happening on May 16, 2025 at Sea. We will be married by the captain onboard! Afterwards, there will be drinks and cake.

Dress Code

Princess Cruise's official dress code is Smart Casual (Business casual). On the informal side of things, both men and women may want to pack away breezy shirts, comfortable sandals and shorts for the day, while they can opt for a sweatshirt or windbreaker to help them stay warm if temperatures drop. For more formal settings such as select dinners or the wedding ceremony, men should bring a dinner jacket, slacks, or a nice button down shirt and slacks, or a dark suit and a nice pair of shoes, while women may want to bring an evening gown, cocktail dress, or elegant pant suit.

How do I pay for things?

Onboard the ship, it is cashless. You will receive a OceanMedallion on your first day and this will be the way you pay for everything onboard such as food, drinks, excursions or gifts from the shops. This OceanMedallion will be linked to the credit card you provide and you will receive an invoice and will be charged at the end of your vacation. Onshore, you can pay with all forms of accepted payment in the local area such as cash, credit card or debit card.

What should I bring?

Please head to the What To Bring page for suggestions.

Is the cruise the only way to celebrate with you?

No! We will be having a legal ceremony in the Edmonton area on June 1st, 2025.
