Charleston is home to some of the best bars and restaurants (in our humble opinion) and the historic sites can't be beat. Take a tour of one, or many, of the historic homes (the Williams Mansion is a favorite and scheduled to reopen in 2025) or take part in a pub crawl or ghost tour. The aquarium is great for a rainy day and if you want to explore a little farther out, Mount Pleasant has the most adorable village with one of our favorite restaurants of all time, Post House Inn. For a day of just hanging out by the water, Shem Creek has a string of bars and restaurants with fantastic views and, if you're lucky enough, you may see the family of dolphins swimming through the canal!
