Should we have nice weather (please all pray to the weather gods!), the ceremony will be held outside so please bear this in mind when planning your outfits! If the weather is not on our side, the ceremony will be held in the Lake Barn.

The venue has lots of lovely cottages, shepherd huts and rooms on site. There is enough for everyone invited. We will have been in touch with you already if you are staying in a cottage or shepherds hut. Please don’t worry if we haven’t been in touch with you yet, there are still rooms available which can be sorted at a later date!

All cottages come with cooking facilities so please feel free to bring stuff to cook for breakfast. On the day of the wedding, we will be providing food in the afternoon and evening.

We hope that you respect our decision to have a child free wedding unless we have invited them.

We ask that everyone wears smart wedding guest attire. Whilst we don’t have a dress code, examples are suits, dresses etc! Our colour scheme is going to be natural colours with rust!

Yes! Plenty of parking available.

The closest train station is Darlington, approximately 12 miles away. The venue is about 20 minutes drive from the station with good links to the A66.

Yes! For anyone staying the night before, we will be having a VERY chilled night with a pizza van and live music. It is likely that the bar will close at 9pm so that everybody can get their beauty sleep for the big event on Sunday!

Check in is from 3pm and check out is 10am on Monday morning.

With the exception of the Mallard House, the cottages and shepherd huts come with hot tubs… so don’t forget your swimming cozzies!
