Bubba and Sussy’s journey began in New Orleans, where they first met at a work conference. A quick introduction turned into a memory, but life carried them back to their separate worlds. A year later, Bubba reached out through Facebook, and what started as a funny, casual message soon turned into daily conversations across the miles — him in San Antonio, her in Alpharetta. After months of long-distance talks, they finally had their first official date on Memorial Day weekend 2024, watching the Braves in Atlanta. Just a couple weeks later, they leapt headfirst into their second date: ten memorable days across the UK and Germany. It was during that whirlwind adventure that they knew their hearts belonged together, no matter the miles between them. From then on, they committed to one another, navigating long-distance love with laughter, patience, and late-night calls. By December 2024, their hearts had already chosen each other completely and Bubba sealed the promise in Aruba with a proposal. She said yes or you wouldn't be reading this right now. By March 2025, he packed up his Texas roots and moved to Georgia to start their forever, side by side.
