We already have much of what we know we need. We came up with a list of places we could use some money in the future.

We do not know what we will need in our future home, possibly furniture, yard stuff, or renovation money. You could also contribute to our honeymoon or date nights. Cash works too, but we know most people would probably like to choose their gift.
