Years ago, the Lord established a friendship between our moms, Jessica Wolfe and Mariellen Grossinger, at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul. They were married just two weeks apart and pregnant with us at the same time. Though our families grew up in different states, they stayed connected over the years, visiting every few years and exchanging Christmas cards. Each year, Jessica would not-so-subtly point out Janey on the Grossingers’ Christmas card.

During our high school years, Cade reached out, and our friendship began through FaceTime calls and occasional visits to see one another. The Lord later provided the opportunity for both of us to attend the University of Northwestern–St. Paul—the very place where our moms first met. It was there that our friendship grew into a dating relationship. Along the way, God has placed so many special people in our lives who have blessed, encouraged, and supported us as our relationship has grown.

On December 20th, 2025, Cade proposed in Nazareth Chapel at UNWSP, where Mark and Mariellen were married. We are so grateful for God’s faithfulness and look forward to celebrating with each of you as we enter into the covenant of marriage together.
