The reception and ceremony are both located at The Stables at Windy Point in Potsdam, NY.

Although we love your children, we've decided to limit our ceremony and reception to only the children in the wedding party - therefore the rest is adults only.

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Therefore we are requesting that our guests come in formal attire. Examples could include a nice dress or pantsuit for women. Khakis or other lightweight slacks with a dress shirt for men. We do plan to hold our ceremony outdoors in a grassy area so plan accordingly.

We ask that guests arrive no later than 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Ideally we ask our guests to avoid colors that we have associated with the bridal party. Our bridesmaids will be wearing a sage green dress. We also ask to please avoid the colors traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivories, creams, etc..

Yes. We have set up a block at the Potsdam Hampton Inn listed in the travel tab. The hotel only allowed us a limited amount of rooms in the block therefore it is first come first serve.

We are happy to inform you that our venue does provide parking. There will be a staff worker there to help assist prior to the ceremony. The parking lot will be lit when it turns dark. We also have set up a shuttle from the venue to locations in town such as hotel. The venue allows for people to leave their vehicles there overnight and come to pick them up the next day (anytime before 11 am). We do ask that if you partake in the bar services that you use your best judgement and take advantage of the offered services.

Unfortunately we aren't able to accommodate plus-ones beyond those that are formally invited. If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card. Thank you so much for understanding.

The wedding ceremony will be held outside on a beautiful lawn by the waterfront. The reception will be held inside the main hall/stables. If weather does not permit for the ceremony to be held outside we will move into the main hall.

We know many of you will be traveling in from other parts of the country. First off, we want to thank you so much for putting in the effort and time to come help us celebrate. Secondly, there are a few options in terms of air travel. Our venue isn't super close to the major airports therefore you will have to drive a little of a distance no matter where you fly into. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
